TV Series into Anime? Empty TV Series into Anime?

So I got aware of the fact that some TV series or drama series's got turned into Anime as well. Like Charmed, Supernatural or True Blood or Vampire Diaries or etc. Whats yours feelings or thoughts pertaining it? I kinda really love the Charmed one, although sitting against the fence about the others.

I didn't know those shows were turned into Anime's.
I think it would be interesting, I'd like to see the powerpuff girls anime.
