First topic message reminder :
Any other fans of Lucky Star? Some may not believe this is marketed at the Shonen demographic, but it is.
Gotta love the random conversations they have and especially the guys in the bookstore selling Manga.

That could just be the name of the rank when you reach a certain number of posts. I know I have my forum automatically add names under your avatar, and I use the same software as this.

There's tons of references to this show in Lucky Star. The most obvious was when they visited Konata working at the cosplay cafe.
There's also a handful of more subtle ones where you wouldn't notice unless you've actually watched Haruhi Suzumiya (actually tons of other Anime references were sometimes very subtle)

I probably should just suggest you to watch Haruhi Suzumiya, then rewatch Lucky Star and see if you can catch the references. Plenty of them are pretty obvious.
It's more fun pointing out references if you've actually seen the show, that way you can "Get it"

It's because the second season has something called the "Endless Eight" which is infamous in the anime world.
