Visual novels

I wonder how many of you ever tried visual novels before?

In case you don't know, visual novels are actually novels you can read in your computer with graphics. Not like manga, no; visual novel graphics are usually not very good and not very much; means that one picture for several paragraphs of the novel. You will also be able to hear songs in the background as you read the novel.

I like it, though I haven't been able to read much. Ones I'm following are Umineko no Naku Koro ni and Katawa Shoujo.

What about you?

I've never heard of these visual novels, but that sounds like a great idea.
