Clannad

The Anime is alright but what annoys me is the constant "Clannad is so sad" Which it isn't really..........It puts me off the show completely -.-

Im pretty sure when they meant sad, they meant the sequel Clannad Afterstory. The sequel is a true tear jerker. For clannad, i liked it for the comedy, drama, romance.

never watched clannad, not one i'd like.

I want to try Clannad, and I will.
I have heard many rumours that the After Story is sad.

I watched like 2 episodes but never got into it, lol.

Honestly I find the first season to be lame, but it is a necessity to understand season two which as stated earlier, is the true tear jerker.

Oh really, then i shouldn't watch it. XD If its that lame, I mean.

You kind of have to if you want to understand the dynamics in After Story, else you kind of find yourself in the middle of a bunch of relationships that seem to have just appeared into existence with no explanation as to who anyone is.

oh I see, then again, I could just look up some infos on the net for that.

Both seasons were decent, although I didn't find it "tear-jerking", but rather "depressing".

It was funny at times, though in the first season(Especially considering those pranks that Okazaki would pull..), but the second season just hits you hard with drama.

Preferably, I find anime like "Welcome to the NHK" or "Chobits" more favourable, as it starts out with comedy and slowly goes into drama and has occasional breaks in between.

After Story just hits you hard with drama and doesn't let go.

yep, Clannad's full of drama and drama queens and kings in there... I mean, its too girly sometimes for me...

Well, then again.. gonna have to play the visual novel and read the manga for a full, comprehensive review..
