Death Note

First topic message reminder :

I liked however I dislike what happened to Light after L died......It
made me want to stop watching the show, I'm aware that most people are
actually quite annoyed at the ending o-o Still a great anime
nonetheless.

It has been a while since I saw Death Note, but it is one of my most enjoyable ones, specially the first half. I really liked it the way it kept going.

I didn't like Near as much as many people seem to do.

I think when people see Ryuk/Ryu (? can't remember) they think 'scary! D:' and I think 'shinigami'. Not scary at all.

i'd concede that some parts might be scary to youngsters but yeah, not the whole series is scary. XDD

Near/Mellow were good but I think they were no way near the orignal L. Light, however, in the end was just selfish in my opinion and it was good atleast for me to see him dead atlast! Misa also committed suicide a year after Light's death.

Near sucked in my view, he's a shitty detective.

I liked Death Note, I think I prefer Code Geass though. But it was very creative and Edgy.
I think all of the characters were very interesting; I was said what happened to Light....even if he had gone insane.

and I am re-watching death note. I still don't like Near, I think they could hav made him more different o L in mannerisms, though it is good he wasn't an exact clone, also, how old is he, anyway?

Same as Near, I'd suppose eh? But they've got the same wits & level of intelligence.

On Wikia Near's age is:
13 (pre-timeskip)
17-18 (post-timeskip)
21 (post-series one-shot)

Apparently he also assumes the name and appearance of L when he grows older;

3 years later (after Light Yagami's death) that Near not only takes on the name of L, but also grows up to look more like the original L himself. Near begins to have the sharp bags under his eyes, his hair begins to take on the style and he hits a growth spurt

I didn't like Near too much, they should have made him more unique because I kept mentally comparing him to L.
