I'm not sure what my fascination with cutesy slice of life shows, but oh well.

Another strangely labeled Seinen Slice of Life Comedy. This one has more of a romantic mood in this unlike the other shows in this genre I watch

The show is about Tsumiki (who looks an awful lot like Konata from Lucky Star) who has a crush on her friend Io, sadly Io is dense towards her feelings and since Tsumiki is a tsundere, she can't openly share her emotions like she wants to. Even though her other friends know how she feels about Io, he is still oblivious to these, and she gets constantly teased by Mayoi over this. It also seems that many of the girls also have the hots for Io, but luckily for her, Mayoi and other female friend Hime don't seem to be trying to hook up with Io.

As typical of Slice of Life comedies, there is no plot and episodes usually consist of everyday things like: visiting the arcade, a snowball fight, and cooking class.

Wait, this is so confusing, you got me baffled & jumbled up at your "summary" thar. So IO's one of the main characters right? So its a yuri shojo then? More then Shonen?

Io's one of the 4 main characters. The main character Tsumiki has the hots for him, but since she's a tsundere, she can't effectively show her love of him since she's too shy. Other than that, it's one of those plotless slice of life shows where it's just a group of friends having fun.

It's apparently a Seinen since it's serialized in a Seinen magazine. I think the confusion with labels like Shonen, Shojo, and Seinen are actually just the target audience, and not as genres.

I also don't think it's really a yuri story since it's a girl in love with a guy. Not girl on girl.

But then again, it should be classed as a Shojo no? Since theres love in the air?

Well they have romance stories in Shonen manga too. Like in Rosario + Vampire, and Ichigo 100%. Some Seinen stories like B Gata H Kei are also romantic. So romance isn't always an indicator of something being Shojo or not.

With the style of pervy stuff in them, I'm sure most girls would not be interested in reading a Manga or watching an Anime with panty shots.

Still think it should be under Yuri Shojo. XDD In my view at least.
