2012 - Will it happen?

What do you think about this supposed theory that the world will end this year? It has been said so much yet so many people seem to actually believe it! I personally think it is just a load of rubbish which will never come to fruition yet this theory seems to be affecting those you wouldn't think would be affected!

What do you think though? Is there any substance to this 'theory'?

This year? Of course not.

2012 is a load of nonsense, there were other more significant Mayan calendars that extended beyond the current millennium, so let's just set that fallacious argument to the side, there is no significant scientific evidence to suggest that a mass-extinction event will occur. So I'll be seeing all those idiots who believe in the 2012 myth in 2013.

I believe taht the end of the calendar means nothing about the end of the world. NASA believes it is just the restart, just like we go from December thirty one to first of January. I think it may mean some sort of change, considering the way they had different changes for different times, but nothing as gloom as people want to believe.

In favour, there was this YouTube report that mentioned other cultures stuff that matched the same doom scale, but I really don't think in the end of the world in a exact date. We may be killing ourselves with our actions but the planet will most likely go on, perhaps better than ever without us.
