So, has anyone read this manga? I loved that when I was young. Sakura had to collect cards called Clow Cards. Each of them had magical powers.

No, but after looking it up on Wikipedia, it looks pretty good!
And by Clamp too, I've only read a couple of series from them.

I see it is fixed. Well, I don't see too much difference in the plots. lol

But it sounds good, and the plot you accidently provided for Fushigi Yuugi sounds similar to Pretear.

Well yeah, she doesn't really enter a book, she must collect cards rather.XD That's the only difference. Romance-wise, same thing. XD

Entering a book? Is that the manga/anime about a girl who enters a book in a library, and is the Priestess? That sounds pretty much the same.

I've not read Card Captors Sakura, but I have seen the anime. I was really into it when it was on TV. I need to see if I can find the manga so I can actually read it at some point.

Indeed it is a very good shojo anime, kinda like fushigi yugi, in the same vein as sailor moon.

I liked this anime, it had some memorable characters and situations. The cards themselves where fun to watch them catch.

I didn't read the manga, except for some isolated chapters, I like the manga art, but the anime in itself is pretty good. There is a character in the anime taht doesn't appear in the manga but she is a good compliment, I forgot her name, but she clings to Li. Card Captors Sakura 2240724814

Those who haven't tried Cardcaptor Sakura, be it the manga or the anime, must try it immediately!!!

CCS is my first manga and anime with CLAMP and it is totally unreplaceable. Simple and sweet and lovely, probably the best of all CLAMP series ever. Sakura is a bright character, Syaoran is a shy one but very sweet, and the other supporting characters are lovely too. Even Mei Ling and Eriol!

Personally I like the manga more, but anime is okay too. Card Captors Sakura 265109619

yep indeed and ditto. I love it, love the art and the graphics, one of the best anime series by Clamp imo. But yeah, Clamp draws great anime on my part.
