A Channel

(edit: could a mod move this into the Shonen section since I'm apparently dislexic tonight and put it in the wrong forum)

A Channel is yet another cutesy Slice of Life Comedy that happens to be Seinen (like K-on and Acchi Kocchi)
though not exactly sure why these are considered Seinen since I would assume the older male target audience would entail dirtier jokes.

The episodes revolve around the friendship of 4 girls: Run, Tooru, Nagi and Yuuko.

Run is the stereotypical airhead character, though sometimes a bit too out there.

Tooru is considered the main character and is the Tsundere of the group. She usually has a calm and cool attitude, which makes her very admired by her classmates (though to her dismay). She is very self conscience of the fact that she is very short and skinny. She is also jealous of Yuuko's figure and loves to pick on her. She also is very protective over Run and shows lots of affection towards her.

Yuuko is quite shy and a scaredy cat. Much of the running jokes with her is that Nagi and Tooru are jealous of her nice figure. Especially when they find out she does no work to keep her body.

Nagi is the more practical of the group and at times the straightman (well girl). She's usually worried about her weight and hates the heat and the cold.

As with many Slice of Life comedies there is no main plot and is very episodic. Some of the episode premises will be along the lines of: going to the beach, making pancakes, or playing in the snow.

I liked A-Channel, it's a very cute and just a fun anime to watch.
I would say Toohru is my favorite character, she's a very interesting one, strong willed and tough... but also very quiet and calm.
