Can money buy happiness?
Can money truly buy happiness? Directly, I would say it cannot unless you can implant happiness into your brain. You could however buy all the things in the world and stil feel sad though but indirectly, I believe that it could just about make you happy in some respects.
You could have been treated like garbage in your job and you just want to quit and say your goodbyes. You have a nest egg of money built up to get you over the jobless period, you can go to your boss and say "Get stuffed" with the knowledge that you will be alright. I can tell that this would make me happy all right!

Well money can buy you security - a home, a car, savings, food, and it can certainly make you more comfortable.
It can make you content.
It can make you content.

I suppose being content is as good as being happy. You raise a valid point there, those kind of things would definitely make me happy anyway, better to be content with life than sad at life anyway!
